Hi my name is Star I am the designer of this website.  You may see the LYT Gecko's running around the site they keep an eye on the site for me, if you want them out the way just chase them with your mouse.

 After years of seeing my dad working on his local websites I decided to do my own. This site is just for young people and teenagers that is why I designed it.  It is a Scottish website for young people from the Lanarkshire area, Lanarkshire is a large district in Scotland and includes both South Lanarkshire and North Lanarkshire.  This map of Scotland above shows the Lanarkshire area in red and the LYT logo is also a map of the Lanarkshire area.  The Lanarkshire Young Team website aims to bring the young people of Lanarkshire together and provide a place for us to hang out on the net.  Check out below for information on all the sites features and also you can use the shoutbox to communicate with other site users or take part in the LYT online poll.

Keep your volume turned up and Hold the pointer over the animations below to hear some sound clips (sounds only seem to work in internet explorer)!

  The LYT Movies section includes the UK Top 10 movies  (hold your mouse pointer over the animated tv to hear a well known movie clip).

The Music Section has my top ten songs with video's for you to watch as well as songs and videos submitted to the site by other site users.  Another addition is the Download top ten chart.  (hover your mouse pointer over the wee music man to hear a short clip from alien ant farm)

Check out the LYT News for any new developements in the website.  (hover your mouse pointer over the wee devil to hear him talk) 

Play some small but cool games in the games section.  You can also put your top scores up on the forum!

Check out the fun Stuff for some funny Pictures, Jokes and Stories.  If you have a video you wanna add then please feel free.  Go to the Fun Stuff page then click on videos.  Info on the page for you to add videos you like or even videos you have done and put on youtube.

LYT Links has links to all the best sites on the net.  If you have a website or blog of any kind spread the word and please add a link to the LYT site somewhere on your site/blog.  If you want to add your link to the LYT links page just go to the links page and submit your link using the online form.

The LYT Forum is the best place to discuss and learn anything and everything.

One thing you have to do the first time you visit the LYT website is sign the guestbook. 

Sign into the Chatroom to chat with other website visitors.

Take part in the Lanarkshire Young Team Never Ending Story.  A story written by Lanarkshire Young team website users, feel free to add your part to the story.
